We’re really excited to have Github on board sponsoring Pubhack #3 not only with prizes, but Github’s own Andrew Nesbitt will be on the judging panel for the event.

What’s up for grabs?

So there are 6 award categories. The overall winner will get 1 years free Silver Account with Github (worth $600). Winners of the other awards will receive a years Bronze Package (worth $300).

These are both organisation plans which are best suited to businesses and small organisations, meaning you get unlimited team members. The silver package entitles you to 20 private repositories and the bronze gives you 10.

Andrew Nesbitt on the judging panel

We’re really happy to have Andrew Nesbitt from Github attending PubHack on the judging panel. He’s a developer at Github with a penchant for open source, robots and rabbits. Andrew will be there throughout the day should you wish to talk to him about the awesomeness that is Github.

Not only that Github are giving us an account exclusive to PubHack where each team will be required to submit their final project to be eligible for entry.
